Activity Co-ordinator role
Join our team as an Activity Coordinator in our Residential Care Home, where you will play a vital role in organising and facilitating social activities for individuals in need of care and support. As an Activity Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our residents by creating engaging and tailored activities that cater to their needs and abilities.

Responsibilities:

Engage in conversations with individuals to understand their preferences and interests regarding activities.

Plan and organise a variety of activities that cater to the unique needs and abilities of individuals, as well as group activities that foster a sense of community.

Coordinate with external suppliers to arrange entertainment and special events.

Arrange and coordinate trips and outings within the local community, considering transportation and accessibility requirements.

Provide support and assistance to individuals, enabling them to actively participate in the activities.

Maintain records and documentation related to activities, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.

Requirements:

Passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring care and support.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with residents and their families.
