Midlands Care is looking for a detail‑driven and organised Accounts Administrator to support both our Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a smooth-running finance department. Key Responsibilities Maintain and update resident fee lists, admissions, discharges, and weekly fees. Track daily occupancy and ensure accurate billing. Prepare invoices for council‑funded and private residents. Allocate payments using bank feeds and resolve remittance queries. Support credit control by monitoring aged debt and following up overdue accounts. Manage resident contracts and process refunds. Prepare monthly debtor reports, occupancy summaries, and fee analysis. Review, verify, and process supplier invoices. Prepare electronic payments and reconcile supplier statements. Support procurement: supplier evaluation, purchase orders, delivery tracking. Maintain accurate purchase ledger records and monthly reconciliations. Assist with month‑end and year‑end processes. Set up and maintain supplier accounts and resolve supplier queries. Reconcile sub‑bank accounts (e.g., Soldo cards). Provide administrative support across the Finance Team. Assist with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and Payroll when required. Answer calls, manage mail, welcome visitors, and maintain a tidy office environment. Handle confidential information professionally and follow company policies. About You Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills. Able to work independently and manage workload effectively. Experience in finance or accounts administration is desirable but not essential. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Why Join Us?
